Born on October 13, 1929, in the quaint town of Louisville, Mississippi, Tiny peacefully transitioned from this life on June 17, 2026, at the age of 96. Tiny was the cherished daughter of the late Vade Mae Love and Washington Love, who instilled in her the values of hard work, faith, and family that would guide her throughout her remarkable journey. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved brothers, JV Love and Sugar Boy Love, and her dear daughter, Tina Meachum, whom she has now joined in eternal rest. A pillar of strength and a beacon of love, Tiny is survived by her devoted children, Wanda Gee and Calvin Gee, who will carry forward her legacy of kindness and resilience. Her life was further enriched by her five adoring grandchildren—Terrence Gee, Mario Gee, Lori Meachum, Corry Meachum, and Michael Meachum—each of whom was blessed by her wisdom and unconditional love. Tiny's legacy also lives on in her two cherished great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and laughter. Tiny Mae Gee's professional life was marked by dedication and hard work. She was a retired pressman at L&M Cleaners, where her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to excellence left a lasting impression. Alongside her career, she co-owned Gee's Service Station, where her warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of countless patrons and friends in the community. Her spiritual journey was a cornerstone of her life. Tiny confessed her hope in Christ at an early age in Louisville, Mississippi. Upon moving to Memphis, Tennessee, she became a devoted member of Morning View Baptist Church, where she shared her gift of song as a faithful choir member. Later, she found her spiritual home at New Allen A.M.E. Church, where she served on the Usher Board and was a cherished member of the Mother Board. Her unwavering faith and service to her church community were a testament to her deep love for her Savior and her fellow parishioners. Tiny Mae Gee's life was a tapestry of love, compassion, and strength. She had an extraordinary ability to uplift those around her with her gentle spirit and infectious laughter. Her home was a sanctuary filled with warmth, delicious meals, and the echoes of heartfelt conversations. She embraced life with grace and dignity, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we gather to celebrate the life of Tiny Mae Gee, we remember her as a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, a faithful friend, and a woman of profound faith. Her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us, reminding us to live with love, serve with joy, and cherish every moment. A celebration of Tiny's life will be held at New Allen A.M.E.
