Tina Denham (Smalley), a cherished soul and beloved member of her family and community, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2026, at OSF Hospital. Born on January 31, 1969, in Chicago, Illinois, Tina was a beacon of warmth and kindness to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Tina was the devoted daughter of the late William and Edna Smalley, who predeceased her. She carried forward the love and values they instilled in her, touching countless lives with her compassion and generosity. Her professional life was spent in various healthcare roles, where her natural empathy and dedication made a meaningful impact on those she cared for. Tina's legacy lives on in her surviving family: her loving children Kristen (Jake) Pritchett, Kenneth (Ariel) Smalley, and Jessica (Jonathan) Ray, her eleven treasured grandchildren, as well as her brother Howard (Jr.) Piper, and his children Jenifer (rich) Taylor, Micheal (Amanda) Piper.Her family was the center of her world, and she leaves behind a wealth of cherished memories and a legacy of love that will endure in their hearts. A nurturing spirit and a friend to all, Tina was known for her kindness and the genuine love she showed to everyone she met. Her infectious laughter and positive outlook brightened the lives of those around her and will be dearly missed. A service to celebrate Tina's life will be held on November 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Riverstone Church, located at 609 S 10th St, Oregon, IL 61061. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her memory and share in the joy she brought to so many. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Tina's memory, as a testament to her lifelong commitment to helping others. Though Tina has left this world, her spirit remains in the hearts of those who loved her.
