In Loving Memory

Timothy Jay Workman
September 7, 1955 — July 20, 2026
Timothy Workman, a cherished brother and friend, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on September 7, 1955, in the picturesque town of Monterey, California, Timothy was a gentle soul with an unwavering appreciation for the beauty and complexity of nature.
Timothy was predeceased by his loving parents, Robert Vernon Workman and Donna Rae Workman, as well as his devoted brothers, Robert V. Workman Jr. and Kim Allen Workman. He leaves behind his beloved sister, Cary Aileen Workman Rudd, who shared with him countless memories and a bond that withstood the test of time.
Throughout his life, Timothy found joy and solace in the wonders of the natural world. He was captivated by the intricate dance of ecosystems and the serene beauty of the outdoors. His love for nature was not just a hobby but a guiding principle in his life, inspiring those around him to appreciate the world in all its splendor.
Timothy's kindness extended beyond his passion for nature. He was a quiet, caring presence in the lives of those who knew him, offering a listening ear and a warm smile to friends and family alike. He touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and respect for all living things
His Tx friend Gus Rentfro has this to recall "My friend Tim was a private man,he was also a talented man. His knowledge spanned generations, grandparents ,parents, siblings and more. Tim was a great story teller, most of it true! Tim was a keen observer of nature and wildlife, and especially rocks! Tim's adventures lead to many things and many records. One prominent,we recorded the last sighting of Jaguarundi in Texas in 1986. Just recently he made friends with unique birds in his yard. He traveled coast to coast and saw new things and made friends at every stop. Many people knew him and miss him he has left many stories untold".
Timothy's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him, as we remember and celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, and dedicated to the wonders of the natural world.
