Timothy Richardson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on September 20, 2026, at the age of 51. Born on November 1, 1974, in Lexington, Kentucky, Tim was the cherished son of Elizabeth and Michael Richardson.
Tim was a man of many talents and boundless energy, known for his warm smile and generous spirit. He graduated from Lafayette High School in 1994 and pursued higher education, earning his MBA from Sullivan University in 2013. His professional life was spent at 3M Ceradyne, where he dedicated 24 years as a Buyer/Purchaser, showcasing his commitment and diligence.
In addition to his career, Tim was a true "jack of all trades." He was an accomplished barber, a gifted artist, and a successful business owner with his venture, Tattoo King. His artistic flair was not only visible in his professional life but also in the way he lived—full of color, creativity, and joy. Those who knew him will fondly remember his infectious laughter and the light-hearted humor he brought into every room he entered.
Tim's personal life was equally rich and fulfilling. He married the love of his life, Stephanie Richardson, on June 22, 2002. Together, they nurtured a beautiful family, raising three children: Lamont Thomas, Djuan Richardson, Draya Richardson, Benjamin (Jade) Richardson, Timari Richardson, as well as Shantoya (Shamontae) Johnson. He was also a proud grandfather to BJ Richardson and Amari Pritchett, who brought him immense joy and pride.
Tim's family extended beyond his immediate household. He leaves behind his devoted mother, Elizabeth Richardson, and his loving siblings, Sean Richardson, Mike Richardson, and Erik Lyles. \1029463608\Though he is predeceased by his grandmother and father-in-law, their memories continue to be cherished by those who knew and loved them.
A service to celebrate Tim's life will be held on October 3, 2026, vitiation will begin at 11:00 AM and the funeral will start at 1 pm at the Unity Worship Center, located at 1975 Haggard Ct., Lexington, KY 40505. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Tim are invited to attend and honor his legacy.
