Timothy Patterson, a cherished soul who touched the hearts of many, passed away on September 17, 2026. Born on May 2, 1979, in Atlanta, Georgia, Timothy was a beloved son to the late Timothy and Susie Patterson. He was a devoted husband to the late Deborah Patterson and a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. Timothy carried with him the vibrant spirit of Atlanta, where he was born and raised. He graduated from Howard High School, where he first discovered his love for the arts. Timothy was a talented barber, often using his skill to bring joy and confidence to those around him. His artistic talents extended beyond the barber chair; he was an avid drawer and painter, and his home was adorned with his beautiful creations. A man of many passions, Timothy found great joy in music. He sang in several groups, his melodious voice often filling the rooms with warmth and harmony. His love for singing was not just a hobby but a way to connect with others and spread happiness. Timothy was a dedicated employee of Fulton County, where he was known for his hard work and commitment. His colleagues remember him as someone who always had a smile on his face and a kind word to offer. Family was the cornerstone of Timothy's life. He is survived by his cherished children, Earl Johnson, Shabra Patterson, and Crystal Patterson-Johnson, who carry forward his legacy of love and kindness. He was the proud grandfather of ten grandchildren—Sade Patterson, Tatyana Patterson, Nadia Patterson, Zilya Johnson, Zoey Johnson, Darrin Thompson Handy, Alkiearea Flemister, D'Mauri Douthit, Kaleb Douthit, and Kristiana Johnson—and the beloved great-grandfather to little London Patterson, who brought him immense joy. Timothy leaves behind his siblings, Michael Patterson, Anthony Patterson, Annette Patterson-Johnson, Stanley Patterson and his wife Sonya, and Barry Patterson. They, along with his extended family and friends, will deeply miss his infectious laughter and unwavering support. He was predeceased by his loving wife Deborah, his parents, his sisters Carolyn Patterson and Elaine Eady, his brothers-in-law George Eady (Poncho) and Keith Johnson, and his brother Robert Patterson. Their memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved them. A celebration of Timothy's life will be held on October 3, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Willie A Watkins Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and to honor the extraordinary life he led. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Timothy's generous spirit and desire to help others. Timothy Patterson will be remembered for his warmth, his love for life, and the joy he brought into the lives of those fortunate enough to know him.
