It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Timothy Patrick Sheehan, a cherished father, grandfather, cousin, and friend, who left this world peacefully at home on April 23, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on April 17, 1956, in Worcester, Massachusetts, Timothy was the beloved son of the late James and Ida Sheehan. Timothy's roots ran deep in Worcester, where he spent his formative years and graduated from North High in 1974. He began his career in 1977 at Worcester County Hospital in Boylston, Massachusetts, serving as a dedicated groundskeeper and supervisor in Laundry Services until the facility's closure in 1993. Later in life, Timothy took pride in his work as a delivery driver for Widoff's Bakery in Worcester, where he was known for his reliability and friendly disposition. Beyond his professional life, Timothy was a man of community and camaraderie. He coached sober leagues for the Crozier House for many years, impacting countless lives with his encouragement and leadership. Timothy found joy in simple pleasures—playing cards with friends, the thrill of bingo, the serenity of fishing, and the camaraderie of bowling. Yet, it was his cherished trips to Hampton Beach with family and friends that brought him the greatest joy. An avid sports enthusiast, Timothy's heart belonged to baseball, and he seldom missed a Red Sox game. Timothy was a devoted father whose unwavering love and support for his children—Christopher Sheehan, Tiffany Sheehan and her fiancé Ronnie, and Tayla Sheehan and her fiancé Dylan—was unparalleled. He never missed an opportunity to be present in their lives, spending weekends and holidays together, ensuring nightly calls, and celebrating every birthday with joy. He was a proud grandfather to Liam, Kailah, Audrianna, and Ryley, whose lives he enriched with his warmth and wisdom. He leaves behind his cousins Nancy Parslow and Laurie Harnois, along with her daughters Katlyne and Nicole Parslow, who were dear to him. Timothy was predeceased by his beloved parents, James and Ida Sheehan, his brother Jimmy Sheehan, and his precious daughter Ashley Ida Elizabeth Sheehan. Their memories have always been a guiding light in his life, and he cherished the moments shared with them. Timothy's legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to those he held dear. His gentle spirit and generous heart touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. As we bid farewell to a remarkable man, we find solace in the memories he leaves behind and the love he shared so freely. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Timothy's life at a memorial service, details of which will be shared in due course. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Timothy's honor to the Crozier House, continuing his legacy of support and care for those in recovery. Timothy Patrick Sheehan will be dearly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
