Timothy June Arnette

Timothy June Arnette, affectionately known as Tim, left this world on October 28, 2026, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He passed peacefully among family at the Lake City Haven Hospice Care Center. Tim was born on Christmas Eve 1960 in Florence, South Carolina. He loved his home of Jacksonville, Florida and lived most of his adult life there. Tim was the beloved son of Patricia Arnette and the late Wilbur Arnette. He was a devoted father to his son, Nicholas, and a loving brother to Kelly Arnette and Joy (Brian) Lamb. As an uncle, he shared a special bond with his nephews, Christopher Arnette, Brayden Lamb, Brannan Lamb, and his niece, Kaitlyn Arnette. The bond of family was a cornerstone of Tim's life, and he treasured hearing all about their adventures in life. A proud graduate of Suwannee High School, class of 1979, Tim furthered his education at Florida State University. Despite his time at FSU, his heart remained loyal to the Georgia Bulldogs—a passion that took root during his childhood in Baxley, Georgia. His enthusiasm for Georgia football was unwavering, a testament to his enduring loyalty and spirit. Tim was an industrious and dedicated businessman, owning and operating a successful pest control business that served the North Florida area. His work was more than a career; he truly enjoyed getting to know his customers and earning their trust. A man of faith, Tim was a faithful member of Terry Parker Baptist Church in Jacksonville. His church family was an integral part of his life, offering support, fellowship, and friendship throughout the years. Tim was known for his vibrant personality and his love for conversation, always eager to engage and connect with those around him. Birthdays were a special time for Tim, especially when celebrated with his mother's homemade strawberry cake, a simple joy he cherished. A service to honor and celebrate Tim's life will be held on October 30, 2026, at Daniel's Memorial Chapel. Family, friends, and all whose lives he touched are invited to gather in remembrance of a life well-lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Terry Parker Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida, in Tim's memory. This gesture will continue his legacy of faith and community service. Timothy June Arnette will be remembered as a loving father, a devoted son, a cherished brother, and a steadfast friend. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
