It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Timothy Jay Daly, a beloved husband, father, papa, brother, and friend, on April 21, 2026. Timothy was surrounded by the love and comfort of his family, leaving this world as gently as he lived in it. Born on October 16, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois, Timothy blessed the lives of many with his kindness, warmth, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. Timothy was the cherished son of the late Thomas and Jeannette Daly and was predeceased by his beloved brothers, Jim and Dan Daly, and his nephew, Jeffery Daly. He was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Laura, with whom he shared 42 years of marriage filled with laughter, love, and countless beautiful memories. A proud father, Timothy’s greatest joy in life was his daughters, Shannon (Art) Urban, Kristyn (Tim) Sipowicz, and Katherine Daly. He delighted in their accomplishments and cherished the special bond they shared. His legacy of love continues through his adored grandchildren, Emmy and Evie Urban, and Declan and Landon Sipowicz, who brought immense joy and pride into his life. Timothy’s gentle guidance and steadfast support left an indelible mark on each of them, a testament to his compassionate nature. His gentle humor and genuine kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of his many nieces, nephews, and extended family. A service to celebrate Timothy's extraordinary life will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026, with a visitation from 9:30a.m.-10:15 a.m. followed by a 10:30a.m. funeral mass. Visitation and mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, located at 15050 South Wolf Rd., Orland Park, IL. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Timothy are invited to gather in remembrance and to honor the legacy of a truly remarkable man. A 12:30pm luncheon will follow. As we say goodbye to Timothy, we remember a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to those he held dear. In our hearts, he remains a guiding light, a beacon of love and hope. May he rest in eternal peace, forever held in the embrace of those he cherished. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Timothy’s memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting his generous spirit and compassionate heart.
