Timothy F. Jackson
January 19, 1945 — September 28, 2026
Timothy F. Jackson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on September 28, 2026. Born on January 19, 1945, in Los Angeles, California, Tim lived a life full of love, adventure, and dedication.
Tim was the cherished son of Edith Bernice Jackson and Frank Van Winkle, and the beloved stepson of Emory C. Jackson. He is predeceased by his parents and his brother, Michael Jackson. His sister, Linda Dosh, survives him.
From a young age, Tim's life was marked by a deep commitment to his loved ones and his country. He graduated from Montclair High School in 1963 and briefly pursued higher education before answering the call to serve in the United States Navy. Between 1965 and 1967, Tim served with distinction as a Seaman Signalman on the USS Constellation during the Vietnam War.
In 1967, Tim married the love of his life, Linda Lowe, in Wasco, California. Together, they built a beautiful life over 56 years, raising two wonderful children, Cindee and Brad, and cherishing their roles as grandparents and great-grandparents. Tim's legacy lives on through his grandchildren: Jessica, Daniel, Nicole, Christian, Dylan, Kallie, Stella, Reese, James, Brooklyn, Mia, Jett, Evelyn, and Cage.
Tim found joy in the great outdoors, a passion he pursued through hunting, fishing, and taxidermy. His skillful hands crafted arrows for his bows and prepared his own bullets, testament to his love for these cherished hobbies.
Professionally, Tim contributed to General Dynamics as a classified mail custodian from 1963 to 1965, bringing dedication and integrity to his work.
A service to honor Tim's life will be held on October 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Salmon Cemetery, located at 45 Cemetery St., Salmon, Idaho 83467. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a charity of your choice, as Tim would have wanted to continue helping others even beyond his lifetime.
