Timothy Earl Riley, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, at the age of 55. Tim was born on December 9, 1970, in the soulful town of Clarksdale, Mississippi, to Delores Riley and Albert McQueen. He is predeceased by his father, Albert McQueen, and his cherished aunt, Mary Ann Riley. Raised in a nurturing environment, Tim was a bright and spirited child who grew into a man of great character and kindness. He graduated from Coahoma College, where he laid the foundation for a life dedicated to service and integrity. Fueled by a deep love for his country, Tim joined the U.S. Navy, where he served with distinction. His commitment took him to Germany for two years, earning numerous medals of honor before he was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1999. Timothy's life was a testament to the values he held dear. He was a man who cherished his family and was the proud father of two remarkable children, Dominique Webster of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Kevlon Anderson of Memphis, Tennessee. His legacy lives on through them and his seven treasured grandchildren, who were the light of his life. A man of deep familial bonds, Tim is survived by his loving mother, Delores Riley, who resides in Clarksdale, Mississippi. His brothers, Christopher (D'Andrea) Riley of Olive Branch, Mississippi, and Prentice Riley of Clarksdale, Mississippi, along with his sister, Vera Ann Riley of Clarksdale, Mississippi, remember him as a pillar of strength and a source of joy. His nephew, Sylvester Perkins of Nashville, Tennessee, along with a host of cousins and grandchildren, will forever hold Tim in their hearts. Timothy had an extraordinary ability to connect with people, and his warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and dedication, and he will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know him. A service to celebrate Timothy's life will be held on April 11, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, Mississippi.
