Timothy passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026, at the age of 53, after a courageous battle with a traumatic brain injury. Born on April 7, 1973, in Albion, Michigan, Timothy was the beloved son of Clarence and Joanne Torrey, who predeceased him along with his grandparents, Walter and Stella Tymkew. Timothy's life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and artistic expression. A graduate of Albion High School's Class of 1991, he carried with him a deep-seated passion for creativity and nature. Timothy was a true animal lover, often finding solace and joy in the company of his furry companions. His love for animals inspired his family to suggest donations be made in his memory to the Cascades Humane Society, ensuring his legacy of kindness continues to flourish. Beyond his affection for animals, Timothy was an avid gardener, nurturing vibrant plants and flowers that reflected his gentle spirit. His artistic talents shone through in his sketches, which captured the beauty of the world around him with an eye for detail and a heart full of compassion. Timothy also found great pleasure in cooking, where he would skillfully combine flavors to create delicious meals for family and friends, filling their homes with warmth and laughter. Timothy's adventurous spirit led him to explore unique hobbies such as shuffleboard and axe throwing, where he formed lasting friendships and shared countless memories. Despite life's challenges, he approached each day with an unwavering positivity and an infectious smile that could light up any room. Timothy leaves behind a devoted family who will forever cherish his memory: his dear partner, Jade Torrey; his beloved children, Tyler Torrey, Cathi Crawley, and Mindy Armstrong; and his treasured grandchildren, Kylo, Kambria, and Clover Coney. Although Timothy did not have the joy of great-grandchildren, his legacy will undoubtedly live on through the generations of his family. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Timothy's sister, Cathi Crawley, whose unwavering dedication as his guardian ensured he received the best possible medical care. Her love and support during Timothy's journey were a testament to the profound bond they shared.
