Timothy Alan Male
October 26, 1960 — May 14, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy Alan Male, who left this world peacefully on May 14, 2026, at the age of 65, following a long illness. Tim was born on October 26, 1960, in the quaint town of New Martinsville, West Virginia, to the late Alfred Briding Male and Marianne Collingbourne. He was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend whose life was a testament to resilience, humor, and boundless love.
Tim began his professional journey in the vibrant field of automotive sales, where he thrived for many years in South Carolina. In 2014, he embraced a new chapter by moving to Vermont with his cherished daughters, Emma and Lizzy Bennett, to be closer to family and join the family business. This move not only brought him nearer to loved ones but also allowed him to cultivate new passions and pursuits.
A man of many interests, Tim was known for his infectious humor and unyielding spirit. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was puttering around the house, working on cars, or spending time with his beloved cats. Tim had a knack for building things and took great pride in his handiwork. His off-color jokes and political banter were legendary among friends and family, always delivered with a twinkle in his eye.
When not engaged in a project, Tim could often be found on his trusty riding lawn mower, meticulously tending to his lawn, or indulging in his love for movies. He was a man who cherished the routine of life, yet always found a way to make it uniquely his own, even if it meant lamenting the unpredictable Vermont weather.
Tim's legacy is carried on by his devoted family, who will forever cherish his memory: his loving mother, Marianne Collingbourne; his children, Emalee Male and Timmy Male; his daughters, Emma Bennett and Lizzy Bennett; and his dear sister, Terri Job, along with her husband, Bob. He also leaves behind his nephew, Jamie Job, his wife Dani, and their children, Evan and Vahn. Tim was predeceased by his father, Alfred Briding Male, whose spirit Tim undoubtedly joins in the great beyond.
A celebration of Tim's life will be held on May 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Ready Funeral Home, located at 68 Pinecrest Drive, Essex Junction, Vermont. We invite family and friends to gather for an informal service to share stories and memories of Tim, honoring the laughter and love he brought into our lives.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Tim's memory. His departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will live on in the many lives he touched. May his memory be a blessing to us all.
