Timothy Alan Male

October 26, 1960 — May 14, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy Alan Male, who left this world peacefully on May 14, 2026, at the age of 65, following a long illness. Tim was born on October 26, 1960, in New Martinsville, West Virginia, to the late Alfred Briding Male and Marianne Collingbourne. He was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend whose life was a testament to resilience and humor. Tim began his professional journey in automotive sales, where he thrived for many years in South Carolina. His charisma and dedication left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike. In 2014, he embraced a new chapter by moving to Vermont with his cherished daughters, Emma and Lizzy Bennett, to be closer to family and join the family business. This transition not only brought him nearer to loved ones but also allowed him to share his wisdom and warmth with a broader community. Tim found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was puttering around the house, talking about cars, or spending time with his beloved cats. His passion for building things was matched only by his pride in his handiwork, and he was known to crack an off-color joke or two, leaving those around him in stitches. Tim's clear disdain for Liberals and Democrats was often the subject of his witty humor, expressing his unique perspective with good-natured ribbing. When not engaged in a project, Tim could often be found on his riding lawn mower, savoring the satisfaction of a well-maintained lawn, or indulging in his love for movies, watching them endlessly. And, like many Vermonters, he took great pleasure in complaining about the ever-changing weather. Tim's legacy is carried on by his devoted family, who will forever cherish his memory: his loving mother, Marianne Collingbourne; his children, Emalee Male and Timmy Male; his daughters, Emma Bennett and Lizzy Bennett; and his sister, Terri Job, along with her husband, Bob. He also leaves behind his nephew, Jamie Job, his wife Dani, and their children, Evan and Vahn. Tim was predeceased by his father, Alfred Briding Male, who he will undoubtedly meet to continue their arguments about automobiles. A celebration of Tim's life will be held on May 23, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ready Funeral Home, located at 68 Pinecrest Drive, Essex Junction, Vermont. We invite family and friends to gather for an informal service to share stories and memories of Tim, honoring the laughter and love he brought into our lives. The family of Timothy Alan Male extends heartfelt gratitude for your prayers, support, and kindness during this time. Your presence and love have been a source of comfort and strength. Godspeed, Tim. We love you.
