Childress, Texas—In loving memory of Tiffany Dawn Day, who left this world on May 28, 2026, at the age of 44. Born on March 18, 1982, in Childress, Texas, Tiffany lived a life illuminated by love, compassion, and a profound dedication to her family and friends. Her gentle spirit and unwavering dedication to those around her will forever be remembered and cherished. Tiffany was the beloved daughter of Vernon Dale Day Jr. and Patricia Jo Parrott Day, who nurtured her with love and care. She was a cherished sister to Joey Ray Day, alongside his wife Connie, and Jeff Day, with his wife April. Tiffany's nurturing spirit extended to her three sons, Jacob Praxton Harris, Lewis Vernon Luna, and Luke Joe Luna, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. As a devoted grandmother, she treasured her two granddaughters, Mia Rose Harris and Everly May Harris, filling their lives with warmth and affection. Tiffany was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe Harol Parrott and Wanda Louis Parrott, Vernon Dale Day Sr., her cousin Keneth Doyle Parrott Jr., her great-grandparents, and several great uncles and aunts. She leaves behind her loving grandmother Lanita Jane Day, as well as numerous uncles, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who were touched by her kindness and zest for life. Tiffany graduated from Wellington High School in 2000 and pursued her passion for helping others by earning a nursing degree from Clarendon College. Her dedication to care extended beyond her professional life, as she lovingly cared for her mother, Patricia, demonstrating the depth of her compassion and selflessness. Recently, she completed a cosmetology degree at Clarendon College, a testament to her commitment to personal growth and her enthusiasm for new challenges. Though she was not in military service, Tiffany grew up surrounded by a military family, instilling in her a sense of duty and honor. Her career was marked by her role as a caregiver, not only to her family but also to her community, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and empathy. Tiffany embraced life with a passion for creativity and exploration. Her hobbies included painting, creative cooking, and nurturing plants, all of which reflected her vibrant personality. She enjoyed walks with her dear friend Nora, often involving their children in these daily adventures, fostering a spirit of togetherness and health. An avid listener of e-books and a lover of music, Tiffany found joy in the simple pleasures of life. A memorial service to celebrate Tiffany's life will be held on May 31, 2026, at 3:30 PM at Childress Park, Childress, Texas. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Downtown Women's Center Haven House in her memory, supporting a cause close to Tiffany's heart.
