Thurman was a devoted father to his five children and leaves behind daughters Stacey of Houston, TX, Brett of Portland, OR, and Adreane of Allentown, PA. He is predeceased by his beloved parents, Wally and Rose. Thurman is remembered not only for his devotion to family but also for his exemplary service in the U.S. Marines.
