Three little toes

July 6, 2004 — May 6, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Three Little Toes, who left us unexpectedly on May 6, 2026. Born on July 6, 2004, in Fort Worth, Three Little Toes graced the world with a spirit that was both vibrant and resilient, touching the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to encounter them. The treasured offspring of CJ Ray and Alex Garlington, Three Little Toes was a cherished member of the family, embodying the love and warmth within their home. Though their journey was unexpectedly altered upon impact with a couch leg, the legacy they leave behind is one of joy, laughter, and tenderness. Three Little Toes was preceded in death by cherished family members, including Gerald, Richard, Emily, and Alex’s pinky toe, who all surely welcomed them with open arms and joyful reunion. Three Little Toes is survived by their loving parents, CJ Ray and Alex Garlington, who will continue to carry forward the beautiful memories and life lessons shared. A proud graduate with a bachelor's degree in "having roast beef" and "having none," alongside a degree in crying "wee wee wee" all the way home, Three Little Toes embraced education with enthusiasm and humor. Their academic achievements were complemented by a notable service in the Marine Corps from 2008 to 2011, where their nimbleness and agility were put to valuable use. In their career as a house maker, Three Little Toes demonstrated creativity and resourcefulness, expertly crafting abodes from materials as diverse as straw, sticks, and bricks. Their dedication to creating a safe and nurturing environment was evident in everything they built. Beyond their professional endeavors, Three Little Toes was a passionate advocate for the wellbeing of animals, actively participating in PETA and standing as a testament to the power of compassion and empathy. Quick on their toes and ever nimble, they navigated life with grace and resilience, leaving a lasting impression on all who witnessed their spirited journey. A service to celebrate the life of Three Little Toes will be held on May 27, 2026, at 5:30 PM, at St. Nicholas Episcopal Church, located at 4800 Wichita Trail, Flower Mound, TX 75022. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and in honor of a life well-lived, sharing stories and memories of a soul who danced through life with elegance and joy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to PETA in Three Little Toes' memory, ensuring their legacy of kindness and advocacy continues to thrive. Three Little Toes will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and eternally celebrated for the love and light they brought into this world. Rest in peace, dear one, and may your journey home be graced with harmony and love.
