Thomas Verderosa, beloved father, brother, and friend, was born on January 1, 1964, in Bethpage, Long Island. He passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and an unwavering love for family and community. Thomas was the cherished son of Michael and Nancy Verderosa, who predeceased him and instilled in him the values of compassion and hard work. He is also predeceased by his dear sibling, Jamie Verderosa. Thomas's memory will be forever treasured by his surviving brother, Michael Verderosa, and by his children, Matthew Verderosa, Alexandria Verderosa, and Vincent Jagger Verderosa. Thomas was also blessed with one grandchild who brought immense joy into his life. A graduate of Bethpage High School, Thomas dedicated over 25 years to his passion for pizza-making. As both a pizza maker and owner, he delighted countless patrons with his culinary skills and warm hospitality. His career was not just a job, but a testament to his love for bringing people together over a shared meal. Beyond his professional endeavors, Thomas was an active member of the Satellite Beach Moose, where he found camaraderie and friendship. He was an enthusiastic fan of baseball and football and had a remarkable talent for singing and playing various musical instruments. These hobbies were a reflection of his vibrant spirit and zest for life. Thomas's personal qualities shone brightly in all he did. His generosity and kindness were well known, particularly his willingness to extend a helping hand to those in need. These attributes endeared him to many and left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Thomas leaves behind his loving wife, Christine, the mother of two of his children, and his former partner, Christine Cooper, the mother of one of his children. In his later years, he found companionship and joy with Toni Cafiero, who remained by his side as a devoted partner. The family has chosen to honor Thomas's life with a private funeral ceremony on September 16, 2026. They extend their heartfelt gratitude to Toni Cafiero, Benny, and the compassionate staff of Holmes Regional Hospital for their unwavering support. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to organizations close to Thomas's heart, as a way to continue his legacy of kindness and community support. As we remember Thomas Verderosa, let us celebrate a life filled with love, music, and the joy of bringing people together. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those he touched.
