Their union was blessed with three wonderful children, Bob Spring (Ronda), Michael Spring, and Alicia Hemric (Anthony), and two treasured grandchildren, Katelyn and Dylan Hemric, who were the light of his life. He is also fondly remembered by several siblings, who shared countless joyful moments with him. A master carpenter by trade, Thomas was a man whose hands crafted not just wood, but dreams and memories. He spent many years perfecting his craft, leaving behind a legacy of breathtaking projects that include the iconic Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California, and the thrilling Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disneyland Park. His work also graced numerous custom-built homes across California and North Carolina. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Thomas was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He relished the serenity of camping, the warmth of family gatherings, and the fulfillment of woodworking. These hobbies were more than pastimes; they were avenues through which he connected deeply with those he loved, creating cherished memories that will endure in the hearts of his loved ones. Thomas was known for his infectious humor and a heart that was always open and ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. He possessed an effortless ability to make people laugh and feel comfortable, turning ordinary days into extraordinary ones with his vibrant personality.
