In Loving Memory of Thomas Raymond Wilds It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Thomas Raymond Wilds, who left us on July 22, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on December 10, 1945, in Grove City, Ohio, Tom was a man of profound kindness and unwavering dedication to family, friends, and his country. Tom was the beloved son of Raymond and Kathleen Wilds. He grew up in a household filled with warmth and care, traits he carried throughout his life. He graduated from Wheeling High School, where he formed many friendships that lasted a lifetime. On August 6, 1964, Tom answered the call of duty and joined the United States Air Force, serving his country with honor and pride. In his personal life, Tom was blessed with a loving family. He was predeceased by his cherished wife, Rebecca "Becky" Wilds, whose memory he held close to his heart every day. Together, they built a life full of love and laughter, and Tom often spoke of her with the deepest affection. Tom is survived by his devoted son, Shane Wilds, and his stepdaughter, Jennifer Wilds. He was a proud grandfather to two grandsons, who brought immense joy to his life. His brothers, Norman (Diana) Wilds and Joe (Barb) Wilds, remember him as a brother who was always there with a kind word and a ready smile. Tom's legacy continues through his numerous nieces and nephews, who admired and loved their Uncle Tom dearly. A passionate golfer, Tom spent many happy hours on the greens, often accompanied by his loyal canine companion, Duke. Those who knew him will recall his stories of golfing adventures and the special bond he shared with Duke, his best friend who was always by his side. Tom's heart was vast and generous, always open to those in need. His warmth and wisdom touched many, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. In accordance with his wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor his memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, as a tribute to Tom's generous spirit. Though Tom's journey on this earth has ended, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those he loved. We find comfort in knowing that he has been reunited with his beloved Becky, and that they are now together once more. Rest in peace, dear Tom. You will be forever missed and eternally loved.
