Thomas Kimbrough Pearce, Jr., a cherished husband, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2026. Born on January 7, 1959, in Pensacola, Florida, Tom was the beloved son of the late Thomas K. Pearce, Sr. and Violet Pearce. He was also predeceased by his brother, John David Redmon. Tom's life was a testament to loyalty, love, and dedication. From an early age, he demonstrated an exceptional aptitude for public speaking and debate, earning honors in the National Speech & Debate Association during his high school years at Idaho Falls High School, where he graduated in 1975. His talents led him to a prestigious opportunity to serve as a Page in the Iowa State Capitol Legislative Session in 1977. Tom continued his education at Idaho State University, where he became an active member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. Tom began his career as a Pipe Welding Inspector in the Nuclear Power industry, where he was renowned for his meticulous attention to detail and dedication to safety. In later years, he transitioned to the role of a Sleep Study Technician, specializing in sleep apnea diagnostics, where he impacted many lives with his compassionate care. A man of varied interests, Tom was a passionate golfer, whose skill on the course nearly led him to a professional career until an unfortunate hand accident redirected his path. Despite this setback, he continued to find joy in the sport and shared his love for it with those around him. He was also an avid fisherman, a hobby he cherished from boyhood through his adult life. The most profound love in Tom's life was for his wife, Wendy Pearce, whom he married on July 30, 2005. His loyalty and devotion to Wendy were unwavering, and together they created a life filled with love and happiness. Tom is survived by Wendy, his sister Denice Rose, and his beloved niece, Danielle (Rose) Fletcher. Tom's legacy is one of warmth, kindness, and a steadfast commitment to those he loved. His absence will be deeply felt, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him.
