In Loving Memory

Thomas James Walker III(Dooda)
September 14, 2007 — August 8, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas James Walker III, affectionately known as "Dooda," who departed this world on August 8, 2026. Born on September 14, 2007, in Wichita, Kansas, Thomas was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew him.
Thomas was the beloved son of the late Thomas Walker Jr. and Effie Newton. He was predeceased by his cherished sister, Eva La'Miracle. Despite the profound loss of his parents and sister, Thomas found comfort and strength in the love of his surviving siblings: Bruntrez Newton, Javell Evans, Elicia Reed, Destinee Newton, and Cierra Newton. His extended family includes a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece, and a nephew, all of whom held a special place in his heart.
Thomas attended USD 259 schools, where he was known for his warm smile and kind spirit. Though he never married, Thomas formed deep and lasting connections with those around him. His kindness and generosity left an indelible mark, touching countless lives during his time with us.
While he did not pursue a formal career, Thomas's life was rich with simple joys. He delighted in eating pizza, tacos, chicken, and mac and cheese, often sharing these meals with loved ones. An avid video game enthusiast, he cherished the moments spent in playful competition with friends and family.
A celebration of Thomas's life will be held on September 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the House of Faith Ministries, located at 545 S Edwards St, Wichita, KS 67213. Family, friends, and all whose lives he touched are invited to join in honoring his memory.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their time and compassionate thoughts during this difficult period. Thomas will be truly missed and forever in our hearts.
Your kindness and remembrance are deeply appreciated by those who loved him dearly.

A poem for Thomas
I hold you close within my heart and there you will remain to walk with me. Through out my life until we meet again, time for me to go now. I won't say goodbye look for me in rainbows way up in the sky in the morning sunrise when all the world is new just look for me and love me as you know I love you. I love you Thomas always and forever. Your presence I miss your memory I Treasure loving you always forgetting you never ever. My brothers keeper. Cierra And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
