Thomas Earl Hall

October 20, 1939 — May 21, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Earl Hall, affectionately known as Tommy, who departed this life unexpectedly on May 21, 2026, after a sudden heart attack. Born on October 20, 1939, in the vibrant city of Miami, Florida, Tommy's journey through life was marked by an unwavering work ethic, a passion for adventure, and a deep love for his family. Tommy was the beloved son of Thomas and Pearlee Hall, who predeceased him. He was also predeceased by his cherished wife, Glenda, who he was united with in marriage on June 6, 64 years ago, before her passing in 2024. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. Their legacy continues through their children: Thomas Glenn (Jackie) Hall, Mark Tyle (Julie) Hall, Jennifer (Jimmy) Robbins, Ashley (Michael) Powell, and Heather Hall. Tommy was a proud grandfather to three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, Cassi and Cade Nipper, Jace Powell, and Kinsey Yarborough, who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his beloved sisters, Frances Smith and Nell Kirk. A self-made man, Tommy's career began in Miami where he skillfully operated a crane. He later moved to St. Cloud, where his entrepreneurial spirit flourished. He built the Canoe Creek Campground, opened Trail Rite Trailers, and H & S Pools. His ventures extended to being a part-owner of Fat Boys BBQ in both Lake Wales and St. Cloud. Even after retiring, Tommy couldn't be kept away from work, choosing to construct houses in St. Cloud and Tennessee, leaving his indelible mark on every project he undertook. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Tommy was a man of many interests. He found great peace and excitement in hunting and fishing, and his love for tractor pulls led him to not only compete but also to host events in Kissimmee and Alabama. In the 1980s, he built one of the first "monster trucks," the Heavy Chevy, showcasing his innovative spirit. He would tell you his greatest accomplishment and the one he was most proud of was being married to the love of his life for 64 years. Tommy was known for his strong work ethic, a trait he passed on to his sons, ensuring that his legacy would endure through them. His hands were never idle, and his heart was always open, welcoming friends and family with warmth and generosity. A service to honor Tommy's remarkable life will be held on May 30, 2026, at Eastern Avenue Baptist Church, located at 1001 Eastern Avenue, St. Cloud, Florida. Those who wish to honor his memory are encouraged to make donations to Eastern Avenue Baptist Church, an organization close to Tommy's heart. The Hall family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to AdventHealth Kissimmee for their compassionate and exceptional care during Tommy's final days. Your kindness will never be forgotten. As we say goodbye to Tommy, we remember a life lived with purpose, love, and dedication. He leaves behind a family rooted in the values he held dear and a community forever touched by his presence. Tommy will be dearly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
