Thomas E Clovis

Thomas Edward Clovis was born on June 18th, 1951, in Clarkston, WA. He was the youngest of three siblings, Steve and Susan, born to Clyde and Helen Clovis. Tom suffered from Legg-Calve Perthes disease that left him bedridden and wheelchair bound for several years as a child. He persevered through hardships and challenges with mobility growing up. Tom was determined to stay active even when doctors said he wouldn’t walk and enjoyed a fulfilling life after having his hip fused at the age of 15. He enjoyed photography and the great outdoors. Tom raised his two sons as a single dad after his divorce in 1990. Tom is survived by his: son-Spencer Clovis; son-Keenan Clovis; daughter in law-Yana Clovis; and sister-Susan Clovis. His brother Steve went to be with the Lord in 2020 leaving behind his wife Nancy Sue Clovis and daughters: Stephanie Erdman and Samantha Johnson. Tom is also survived by his grandchildren: David (11), Sophia (9), Ezra (6), and Scarlett (4). He has showed such love and dedication to them that they will carry in their hearts for the rest of their lives. ‘Papa’ went above and beyond for his grandchildren and was an essential part of their everyday lives. Tom made friends whatever he went and made everyone feel welcomed. His friends and family are lucky to have had the privilege of having him in their lives all these years. After suffering a severe stroke on 5/27/2026 and spending 40 days in the hospital, he went to heaven on July 6th, 2026.
