Born on December 25, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan, to Stanley and Marion Beauvais, Tom was a gift to all who knew him from the very beginning. Tom pursued his education at Michigan State University, where he developed the skills and compassion that would later define his career as a Nursing Home Administrator. In this role, he was not only respected but deeply loved by his colleagues and those he served. His fairness, dedication, and kindhearted nature made him a beacon of hope and comfort to many families. A sports enthusiast at heart, Tom found joy in the thrill of competition. He was an accomplished handball player, winning numerous trophies that testified to his skill and passion. In his later years, disc golf became a beloved pastime, offering him weekly opportunities to engage with friends and nature. Tom also had an adventurous spirit that took him across the globe; he delighted in traveling extensively, with recent journeys leading him to explore the rich cultures and landscapes of Europe. Tom's family was central to his life. Though his marriage to Monica Beauvais ended, the bond they shared over 24 years remained strong, and he was a devoted father figure to his stepsons, Joseph, David, Matthew, and Joshua Hailperin. His heart was further filled with the laughter and love of his 11 grandchildren. Tom's siblings, Dale Beauvais (Linda), Robert Beauvais (Jackie), and Michele Beauvais (Greg Best), along with several nieces and nephews, will forever cherish the memories of their time together. Predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Marion, Tom carried their values forward into every aspect of his life, touching the hearts of those around him with his integrity and warmth.
