Thomas Adams, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by love on March 20, 2026. Born on April 10, 1950, in Baltimore, MD Thomas was the cherished son of Mildred and Edwin Adams. His life was a tapestry of love, family, and dedication, woven with moments of joy and shared experiences. Thomas was a man whose presence was deeply felt by all who knew him. A contractor by trade, his hands helped shape many homes and businesses, leaving behind not just buildings but memories. His work in the Sky Bar of the Mt. Washington Tavern, prior to the 2011 fire, stands as a testament to his skill and commitment. Yet, it was his ability to build relationships that truly defined him. Married to his dear Sharon D. Hewitt on June 21, 1985, Thomas and Sharon spent 36 wonderful years together, raising two beautiful children, Ashley Adams and Thomas Adams, who, along with his wife Vanesa, blessed him with two grandchildren, Emma and Jackson. Family was the cornerstone of Thomas’s life, and he loved being with them as much as he could. While he was often a man of few words, those words carried weight and meaning. Thomas had an uncanny ability to make meaningful connections, often acting as a father figure to many. His love for watching Ravens games with his kids, strolling the shores of Ocean Isle Beach with Sharon, or engaging in lively croquet games with his children and their friends showcased his playful spirit. His passion for the Little League World Series was unmatched, and it was a time he eagerly awaited each year. Thomas was predeceased by his beloved wife Sharon and his sister Leslie Sellman. He is survived by his children, Ashley and Thomas (Vanesa), his grandchildren, Emma and Jackson, and his brother Edwin Adams. His legacy is one of love, kindness, and an unyielding zest for life. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who was a part of Thomas’s life journey and to the medical staff at Johns Hopkins Bayview for their compassionate care. In honor of Thomas’s memory, the family invites those who wish to make a contribution to consider donating to a charity close to their hearts. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Thomas’s life. As we reflect on the time shared with Thomas, we are reminded of the joy he brought into our lives, the lessons he imparted, and the love that will forever remain in our hearts.
