Thermon Lyles

Thermon Lyles, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, at the age of 75 due to congestive heart failure. Born on August 28, 1950, in the United States, Thermon was the cherished son of Rosanna Pope and Thermon Lyles Sr., both of whom predeceased him. Throughout his life, Thermon was known for his strength of character, gentle spirit, and unwavering dedication to his family and community. He was a man who believed in the power of kindness and the importance of giving back, always offering a helping hand to those in need. Thermon is survived by his loving daughter, Tacona Johnson, and his sons, Lonzo Johnson and Tommy Johnson. He was a proud grandfather to seven beautiful grandchildren, who were the light of his life and the legacy he leaves behind. Thermon was a guiding force, instilling values of compassion, integrity, and perseverance in his family. A service to celebrate Thermon's life will be held on September 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Thermon are invited to join in honoring his memory and celebrating the profound impact he had on those around him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Thermon Lyles, continuing his legacy of kindness and generosity. Thermon Lyles will be remembered for his warm heart, his laughter, and the love he shared with all who knew him. He will be dearly missed but forever cherished in the hearts of his family and friends.
