Theresa Rose Villarreal

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Theresa Rose Villarreal, Born on January 27, 1959, in Putnam, Connecticut, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Theresa departed this world peacefully at home on June 27, 2026, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Theresa lived a life filled with warmth, laughter, and generosity, touching the lives of all who knew her. Known for her kind heart and strong work ethic. She is preceded in death by her father, George Pelletier; her brother, David Pelletier; her husband, Jimmy Villarreal; her ex-husband, Jay Morrone; and her grandsons, Tyler Bennett and Curtis Boucher. She is survived by her beloved mother, Rosalie Tyler; her brother, Mark Pelletier; her devoted children, Kristina Warren, Kimberly Boucher, Patricia Morrone, Jeremy Morrone, and Joseph Morrone; as well as her cherished grandchildren, Tessa Bennett, Ace Dimmock, Jayden Chappell, and Lucas Chappell. Throughout her career in culinary and healthcare she was also a proud member of the Putnam VFW Auxiliary. Her kindness and bright spirit were constants in the lives of those around her. Whether she was whipping up a new recipe, embracing the rhythm of a favorite song, enjoying a game, camping, sitting around by the fire with a good drink, or spending time with her family and friends. Theresa found joy in all of life’s pleasures. She liked learning about history and greatly enjoyed traveling throughout her life. Theresa had a wonderful sense of humor and was there for anyone who needed it; if it was to crack a witty joke, give you advice, a hot meal, or simply lend an ear. She had a strong spirit, selfless heart, and an unmatchable personality. Her absence will be heavily felt by many. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with details to follow. Her family invites all who knew and loved her to join in remembering the life of a woman who will be deeply missed and forever cherished. Theresa's legacy is one of love, courage, and compassion.
