Theresa was predeceased by her dear parents and her cherished brothers, John Knudson and Joey Towns, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. Theresa was a beacon of love and strength, survived by her devoted husband, Allen (Brent) Kinney, whose partnership brought her endless joy and adventure. Together, they danced through life, exploring the great outdoors, and finding solace in each other's company. Her siblings, Patty Wright and Kathy Kneeland, carry forward the familial love they shared, and her daughters, Jennifer Maddocks and Virginia Catlin, continue her legacy of compassion and strength. Theresa's love lives on in her grandchildren, Caitlin and Mason Maddocks, who were the light of her life and her most cherished treasures. A proud alumna of Deering High School in Portland, Theresa pursued her passion for healing at the University of Augusta, where she earned her associate's degree in Nursing. Her career was marked by dedication and empathy, as she flourished from a loving stay-at-home mom to a revered professional in the field of nursing. Theresa's journey saw her rise from Charge Nurse to the esteemed position of Director of Nursing at TallPines, and she gracefully concluded her career at Quarry Hill in Camden, where her care and compassion left an indelible mark on all those she served. Theresa's spirit was as free as it was fierce, known for her infectious smile and laughter that could brighten the darkest of days. She was a passionate soul, unyielding in her pursuit of joy and love. Her hobbies reflected her vibrant nature—she loved to read, camp, and dance, always eager to embrace the beauty of the world around her.
