Born on June 20, 1964, in Warsaw, North Carolina, Theresa was a beacon of love, laughter, and resilience to all who knew her. Theresa was the beloved daughter of the late Henry Jacob and Bessie Faison Sutton Jr., whose values and love she carried forward in her own life. She was predeceased by her precious daughter, T'Keyah Sutton Rose, whose memory she held dear in her heart every day. Theresa's spirit and joy live on in her devoted son, Erick Sutton, and his wife Miracle, who reside in Warsaw, NC. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Sharon Riddick and her husband Andrew of Warsaw, NC, and Henry Sutton of Raleigh, NC. Theresa was a proud and doting grandmother to seven beautiful grandchildren: Ahmad Williams, Tyquise Wilson, Jamonie Bizzell, Azariah Sutton, Violet McMillan, Jason McMillan, and Liston Rose, each of whom brought immense joy to her life. Known as the life of the party, Theresa had an infectious humor that could light up any room. Her laughter and jokes were a testament to her unyielding spirit, even in the face of illness. A devout woman, Theresa found strength and solace in her faith, praising the Lord and finding comfort in His presence. Her unwavering faith was an inspiration to all who knew her, demonstrating the power of belief and the peace it can bring. Theresa's love extended beyond her immediate family to her nephew, Keon Sutton, niece, Sharee Wilson, and her special cousin, LaShonda Huell, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Her life was enriched by the company of her dear friends, Valerie Williams, Annetta Jordan, Kevin Smith, and Patrice Fields, who stood by her side through life's many seasons. Though Theresa's physical presence will be deeply missed, her vibrant spirit, warmth, and laughter will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who loved her. Her legacy is one of joy, faith, and the boundless love she shared with her family and friends.
