Theodore Williams
July 4, 1950 — August 22, 2026
Theodore Williams, born on July 4, 1950, in the vibrant city of Seattle, Washington, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026, surrounded by his beloved daughter and cherished loved ones. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Theodore was the cherished son of Dorothy and Edward Williams, both of whom preceded him in death, along with his dear brothers, Martin (affectionately known as Marty) and Bruce Williams. Despite these losses, Theodore's life was filled with love and joy, particularly in the company of his surviving family members, who meant the world to him.
He is lovingly remembered by his sister, Willie May Reed, and his devoted children: his daughter, Evelyn Williams, affectionately known as Punkin; his daughter, Monika Williams; and his only son, Dennis Williams Sr. Theodore's loving spirit lives on in his grandchildren: Samuel (Sam), Michael, Travon, Damarion-Darico, Mykeisha, DenAisa, DeAisa, Edward (known as Little Eddy), and Tres’zure. His great-grandchildren, the twins Masia and Major, Aubriella, and MaLaine, will carry forward his legacy of kindness and strength.
Though his marriage to Sandra Ellison ended, they shared a special bond that continued throughout their lives.
Theodore's journey began as a track star, excelling in football and baseball at Franklin High School. His athletic prowess was matched by his dedication to his country, as he served with distinction in the military, achieving the rank of E5-Sergeant. His commitment to excellence and service was a testament to his character and integrity.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Theodore's life on September 19, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Greenwood Memorial in Renton, WA. It will be a time to reflect on the incredible life he led and the impact he had on those around him.
