With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Thato Sello, who departed this life peacefully on April 6, 2026, while en route to the hospital. Thato was born in the serene landscapes of Lesotho on April 13, 1988, and was a cherished son to the late Agnes Hlophe and Joseph Hlophe. Thato’s journey through life was marked by his extraordinary kindness, boundless curiosity, and an unwavering commitment to his family and friends. He was educated at Tsimong Primary School and Lefa Ifa Secondary School, where he laid the foundations for a life of learning and creativity. A lover of the written word, Thato found immense joy in reading novels, exploring diverse worlds through the pages of his favorite books. His artistic spirit was also evident in his passion for drawing, where he captured the beauty of everyday life with a pencil in hand, rendering the world around him with grace and imagination. Though Thato has left us too soon, his spirit endures in the hearts of those who loved him. He is survived by his devoted children, loving siblings, an extended family that cherished him dearly, and close friends who stood by him through every chapter of his life. Thato was predeceased by his beloved mother, Agnes Hlophe, whom he now joins in eternal peace. In this time of reflection and remembrance, we invite friends and family to join us as we honor Thato’s memory and celebrate the remarkable life he lived. His gentle demeanor and warm smile will be missed, but his legacy of love and creativity will forever be etched in our hearts.
