In Loving Memory

Tharazun Letitia Armon “Queenie”
November 20, 1993 — May 26, 2026
It is with profound sadness and heartfelt reflection that we announce the passing of Tharazun Letitia Armon, affectionately known to many as “Queenie.” Born on November 20, 1993, in Mobile, Alabama, Queenie graced this world with her presence and left an indelible mark on every heart she touched. She departed from us on May 26, 2026, at the tender age of 32, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering grace.
Queenie was the beloved daughter of Sandra Robinson and the late Reverend Lunzeo Armon, whose guidance and faith shaped her journey. Her father’s memory continued to inspire her throughout her life, as did the cherished memories of her warm maternal grandmother, Virginia R. Smith of Bogalusa, Louisiana, and her spirited maternal grandfather, Willie “Bill” Foster of Sacramento, California. Queenie also held in her heart the fond memories of her uncles, Craig Mitchell and Glenn Smith of Bogalusa, Louisiana, as well as her infant, Masani Chanel Kpaka, and nieces, Hope and Faith Armon, who predeceased her.
A devoted mother, Queenie is survived by her beloved son, Myron Armon of Bogalusa, Louisiana, who was the light of her life and the source of her greatest joy. Her nurturing spirit extended to her five sisters, Virginia Mitchell of Bogalusa, Louisiana; Tina (Dave) Armon-Spann, Shuneader Armon, and Cassidy (Tremaine Sr.) Armon Ward of Jackson, Mississippi, with whom she shared a bond forged in the fires of sisterhood and mutual respect.
Queenie’s life was further enriched by her brother, Ledrick Simmons, and a host of nieces and nephews whom she cherished deeply, each of whom brought abundant joy and laughter into her life.
Known for her compassionate heart and unwavering strength, Queenie dedicated her life to fostering love and understanding within her family and community. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth, her laughter a balm for weary souls, and her wisdom a guiding light for those who sought her counsel. Her life was a testament to the power of kindness and the beauty of a generous heart.
Queenie’s spirit will forever echo in the lives she touched, her legacy living on through the love she sowed in her family and friends. As we gather to celebrate her life, we are reminded of her favorite saying, “Love isn’t just what you say, but what you do.” In honoring her memory, we strive to carry forward her legacy of compassion and love, ensuring that her spirit continues to shine brightly in our hearts.
A celebration of Queenie’s life will be held in her hometown of Mobile, Alabama, where family and friends will gather to honor her journey and the beautiful life she led. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Queenie’s memory to organizations that support families in need, echoing her lifelong commitment to helping others.
Rest in peace, dear Queenie. Though you are no longer with us, your light will forever guide us, and your love will forever envelop us.
