Thadious Williams, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026, in the comfort of his home in Summerville, SC, at the age of 83. Born on January 14, 1943, in the quaint town of Summerville, Thadious was the cherished son of Ruby Ann and Duncan Williams. He grew up with a deep sense of community and family, values that he carried with him throughout his life. In 1967, Thadious married the love of his life, Geneva Williams. Their marriage, a testament to enduring love and partnership, spanned 59 beautiful years. Together, they built a family filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories, raising five wonderful children: Valeri Millihouse, Jason Williams, Annett Singleton, Rodney Williams, and Percy Williams. Thadious's legacy lives on through his eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, each carrying a piece of his spirit and wisdom. A man of faith, Thadious was a devoted member of the Faith House of Prayer Baptist Church for over five decades. His dedication to the church community was unwavering, and he found great joy in worship and fellowship with his fellow congregants. His faith guided him throughout his life, providing comfort and strength during times of both joy and challenge. Thadious was deeply loved by his siblings, Roseabelle Mitchell and Jerry Williams, with whom he shared a bond that remained strong throughout the years. His life was enriched by the deep connections he maintained with his family, friends, and neighbors, all of whom will miss his warmth, kindness, and infectious smile. A celebration of Thadious's remarkable life will take place on September 26, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Faith House of Prayer, located at 1910 Westside St, Summerville, SC.
