Grimm, a beloved father, grandfather, son, and friend, who left this world on June 28, 2026. Born on February 16, 1960, in York, Pennsylvania, Terryl was the cherished son of Gary and Mrcyla Dubbs. A graduate of Red Lion Area Senior High School, class of 1983, Terryl embarked on a life marked by dedication, love, and service. He spent over three decades as a Principal Engineer at Textron Systems, where his colleagues admired him for his expertise and unwavering commitment to his work. His career was not just a means of livelihood, but a testament to his passion for innovation and excellence. Terryl was a devoted family man, predeceased by his beloved wife, Janis L. Grimm (née Blouse), with whom he shared a lifetime of love and partnership. Together, they built a nurturing home filled with warmth and kindness, raising three remarkable sons: Dirk, Derek, and Dustin Grimm. As a father, Terryl was a beacon of strength and guidance, always encouraging his sons to pursue their dreams with vigor and integrity. Terryl's legacy lives on through his four grandchildren—Katelyn, Carson, Wesley, and Mavis—who brought immense joy and pride into his life. He cherished every moment spent watching them grow, particularly enjoying their sporting endeavors, cheering them on with enthusiasm and affection. An avid sportsman, Terryl found solace and adventure in the great outdoors, especially during his cherished visits to Big Hollow Camp. He was also deeply passionate about ancestry and genealogy, dedicating countless hours to discovering and connecting with his family's rich history. Terryl's generosity and kindness were boundless. Known for his huge heart, he never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His warmth and compassion left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. As an active member of the Old Stonehedge Campground, he served as the board treasurer, contributing his time and skills to a community he loved dearly. Terryl's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have reached out with love and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice, honoring Terryl's spirit of giving and care for others. A service celebrating Terryl's life will be held on July 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Hefner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, located at 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, PA.
