TERRY WEBER

Terence “Terry” Victor Weber, 66, of Gray, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his home on August 12, 2026. Terry grew up in New Richmond, Ohio, and graduated from Mount Vernon Academy in 1978. After graduation, he moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he attended Cleveland State Community College and earned an associate degree in Computer Science. It was there that he met Janie, the love of his life. They married in 1988 and spent 40 wonderful years together. Terry began his career with DCR in Chattanooga and, that same year, was transferred to the Kingsport area to work at Mid-South Data Center. Always committed to learning and growing, Terry later returned to school, earning a second degree. He went on to work at Northeast State Community College, where he remained until his passing. Throughout his life, Terry was a faithful husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a devoted servant of the Lord. He had a kind and gentle heart and made many lasting friendships along the way. His faith was an important part of who he was, and he served the Lord with all his heart. Terry’s final journey was marked by both hardship and remarkable grace. After suffering a fall that resulted in a serious head injury, he required emergency brain surgery. He was not expected to survive. Yet God had other plans. Through His grace, Terry recovered enough to return home, where he was able to spend precious time with his loving wife, visit with his children, see and speak with his parents, and play with his grandson. These moments were a precious gift to Terry and to all who loved him. On August 12, surrounded by the love that meant so much to him, Terry peacefully fell asleep in Jesus. Terry passed away holding firmly to the Blessed Hope of Christ’s soon return and the promise of the resurrection. While his passing leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of those who loved him, his memory, his faith, and the love he shared will remain with them always. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, coworkers, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him and enjoying his company. “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” Terry is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Janie Loretta (Howard) Weber; parents, Walter and Virginia Weber; step-daughter, Sabrina Ann Jordan; daughter, Tiffany Christine Weber and fiancé Kyle Guthrie; three grandchildren, Kayla Shannon Weber; Aaron James Weber and his wife Katie; Alexis Anne Bear and her husband Ricky; three great-grandsons, Henry Bear, Daniel Bear and Truman Weber; two brothers, Renee and Brent Weber and many beloved friends and co-workers.
