Terry Lynn Glover
August 10, 1948 — March 12, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terry Lynn Glover, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend. Terry passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on August 10, 1948, in the small town of McCrory, Arkansas, Terry was the cherished son of Aubrey and Edna Glover.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Charlotte Glover, and his brother, Larry Glover. Terry leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion in his surviving family: his three adoring daughters, Christy Davis (Mike), Terri Ann McKinney (Jeff), and Michelle Glover (Robert). Although he had no great-grandchildren, Terry's life was enriched by the joy and laughter of his family.
Terry proudly served his country as an Airplane Mechanic in the United States Air Force. His service to his nation was a testament to his dedication and commitment. After completing his military service, Terry embarked on a remarkable 50-year career in the automotive industry, from which he retired in 2020. His work ethic and integrity left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
A man of many talents and interests, Terry was a beacon of love and guidance to his daughters, teaching them to ride bikes, coaching their basketball games, and patiently instructing them in the art of driving. His enthusiasm for the Arkansas Razorbacks was legendary; whether they were on the court or the field, Terry was their most ardent supporter, always willing to challenge the referees when a call didn’t go in their favor.
Terry's laughter and smile were truly infectious, capable of lighting up any room he entered. He found joy in simple pleasures, like dancing the night away to live bands and sharing stories with friends and family. His warmth and humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
As we say our final goodbyes, we take comfort in knowing that Terry's spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched. His life was a testament to love, dedication, and resilience, and his memory will forever be cherished.
A celebration of Terry's life will be held at a later date to honor the remarkable man he was. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Terry's memory, spreading kindness and love in the way he always did.
Rest in peace, Terry Lynn Glover. Your laughter, wisdom, and love will remain with us always.
