In Loving Memory of Terry Larsen It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terry Larsen, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left us unexpectedly on August 7, 2026, at the age of 78 due to heart failure. Terry was born on September 19, 1947, at Hamilton Field, California, to his loving parents, Sidney and H. Joan Larsen. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Larsen of 59 years. His children, Connie (Chris) Larkin, TJ (Terry Junior) (Lonnie) Larsen, and Matthew (Kollett) Larsen. He was a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren: Carolina Larkin (Shane Bowers), Anastasia Larkin, Indiana J. Larkin (Mia), Raleigh Larkin and Bonnie Larsen. Ryker Larsen, Nolan Larsen, Emmet Larsen, Oliver and Kennedy Larsen. Loving great-grandfather to four great-grandsons: Vincent, Elliott, and Beckett Bowers, and Deacon Larkin. Educated in Spokane, Washington, Terry attended Madison Elementary School and graduated from Shadle Park High School in 1965, which was the largest graduating class Shadle ever had. Shortly thereafter, in 1967, he embarked on a dedicated 35-year career with the US Postal Service as a letter carrier. His commitment to his work was recognized through his proud membership in the National Safety Council's One Million Mile Club and the National Association of Letter Carriers, Branch 442. He was honored with numerous Special Achievement Awards and Certificates of Appreciation. He served routes at the Opportunity, Rosewood and Northpoint Stations. Terry found joy in the excitement of his children's sports events, always there to cheer them on at swim meets, soccer matches, football games, and track meets. He was a thrill-seeker at heart, with an impressive goal achieved of riding 465 different roller coasters during his travels, a testament to his adventurous spirit. Terry's memory will be forever cherished by his beloved wife, Carol, his family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
