It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Terry Enloe, who left us on August 29, 2026. Born on October 23, 1953, in Houston, Texas, Terry was the beloved son of the late Byron Enloe and Gwenyth Geye. He is predeceased by his parents but leaves behind a legacy of love and family that continues to grow and flourish.
Terry is survived by his cherished children: Jeremy Enloe, Nicholas Enloe, Jennifer Dotson, and Nathaniel Enloe. He was a beloved brother to Monty Enloe, Marilyn Anderson, Mona Carter, and Melanie Enloe. Additionally, Terry was a proud grandfather and great grandfather to eleven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, who brought immense joy and laughter to his life.
A dedicated public servant, Terry devoted 33 remarkable years to the Harris County Sheriff's Department, where he rose to the rank of Major before retiring in 2008. His commitment to serving and protecting others did not end there. In 2015, he took up the mantle of Chief of Police for the Magnolia Police Department, a position he held with honor until his retirement in 2019.
Terry was a man of simple pleasures and great heart. An avid hunter and leisurely fisherman, he found solace and joy in the great outdoors. Whether he was setting out on a hunting expedition or simply watching the sun dip below the horizon, Terry's love for nature was a constant source of peace in his life.
Known for his straightforward and honest nature, Terry was a man who wore his heart on his sleeve. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, whether it was fixing a car or offering personal advice. His generosity of spirit extended to his family, who fondly remember his love for the ankle bracelets gifted to him by his children and grandchildren.
A celebration of Terry's life will be held on September 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Northside Christian Church, located at 20250 Kuykendahl Rd, Spring, TX 77379. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the wonderful people of Northside Christian Church for their support and kindness during this time.
In memory of Terry Enloe, his family suggests that donations be made to a charity of your choice. Terry's legacy of service and love will continue to inspire all who knew him. May he rest in peace, forever remembered and cherished by those he loved and who loved him.

The sun is setting low
my day begins to slow.
I sit and reflect
of whom I did neglect.
