In Loving Memory of Terry Pechacek October 16, 1956 - July 6, 2026 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Terry Pechacek, who left us peacefully on July 6, 2026, at the age of 69, after a courageous battle with Dementia and Alzheimer's. Born in the charming town of Owatonna, Minnesota, Terry was the cherished son of the late Robert Edward Pechacek and Marjorie Leah Pechacek. Terry's life was anchored in love, laughter, and a deep commitment to his family and friends. He married the love of his life, Evonne Pechacek, in 2008, and together they nurtured a beautiful family in the New Richland MN school district. Their lives were filled with joy as they embarked on trips to Sturgis, spent countless hours enjoying fishing adventures, boating, and attending farm auctions. A man of dedication and diligence, Terry devoted 25 years of his career to McLane Trucking out of Northfield, MN, where he worked as a driver/operator until his retirement in 2024. In his free time, Terry was an avid golfer and a football enthusiast, cheering passionately for his beloved Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed bowling, tending to his lawn, and spending tranquil moments in his workshop. Those who knew Terry will fondly remember him for his goofy head tilt and infectious laugh, often following one of his classic dad jokes. He was the life of long family game nights filled with intense rounds of Monopoly or Scrabble. His fishing adventures were legendary, filled with chaos, laughter, and cherished memories. Above all, Terry was a hard-working man whose love for his family and friends knew no bounds. Terry is survived by his devoted wife, Evonne Pechacek; his children, TJ Pechacek, Jessica Meade, Kendra (Jonathan) Folven, and Eric Pechacek; and his treasured grandchildren, Lauren, Connor, Ella, Izzy, Xavier, Gracie, Miyah, Kaden, and Raelynn. He also leaves behind his siblings, Shirley, Mary, Marlin, Milo, Mona, Roberta, and Danny, as well as his best friend, Chucky. Terry was predeceased by his grandparents, Dan Fern Stoltz and Adolph Pechacek, and his loving parents, Robert and Marjorie Pechacek. A service to celebrate Terry's life will be held on July 14, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church, located at 404 Central Ave N, Dodge Center, MN 55927. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff at White Pine Memory Care for their compassion and respect during Terry's final days.
