Terri Michelle Conner, a cherished daughter, sister, and friend, gracefully departed this world on June 29, 1963. Born on January 29, 1963, in Yonkers, NY, Terri was the beloved daughter of Evord Conner Jr. and Frances Culbreath. From a young age, she exhibited an insatiable curiosity about the world around her, a trait that guided her throughout her life and career. She was predeceased by her loving parents and her dear sister, Sharon Conner, with whom she shared a deep and abiding bond. Terri's academic journey led her to the University of the District of Columbia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, a testament to her passion for understanding life at its most fundamental level. Her education paved the way for a remarkable career as a Senior Clinical Research Associate, where she dedicated over two decades to the field of oncology research. Her work contributed to advancements in cancer treatments, offering hope and healing to countless individuals and families. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Terri was known for her adventurous spirit and her love of travel. Her journeys took her across the globe, where she embraced new cultures and experiences with enthusiasm and openness. She also had a profound love for animals, especially dogs, and her compassion extended to all living creatures. In her memory, donations can be made to the SPCA of Wake County in Raleigh, NC, an organization close to her heart. Terri's life was celebrated in a private ceremony, honoring her wish for an intimate gathering of those who held her dear.
