Terri Lynn Hill

Terri Lynn Hill, née Buckmaster, was a cherished soul who graced this world with her presence on September 12, 1957, in the welcoming town of Lafayette. With a gentle spirit and a heart full of love, Terri devoted her life to nurturing her family and spreading kindness to all who knew her. On June 9, 2026, she peacefully departed from this world, embraced by the warmth and comfort of a rehabilitation facility, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Terri was the beloved daughter of Alan and Marilyn Buckmaster, who preceded her in death and from whom she inherited a deep sense of compassion and resilience. Her parents instilled in her a love for family, which became the cornerstone of her life. She carried their lessons forward, creating a family of her own that continues to carry her light into the world. For 45 wonderful years, Terri shared a life of devotion and partnership with her loving husband, Mike. Together, they created a warm and nurturing home, raising four remarkable children: Heather, married to John; Amanda, married to Brett; Brock; and Drew. Terri celebrated each of their achievements and supported them through life's challenges with unwavering love. Terri's love extended even further, as she was a proud and doting grandmother to six grandchildren: Jordan Gouker, Hunter Morris, Grant Morris, Blair Webster, Wilson Webster, and Grace Morris. Each of her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in their visits, often sharing her wisdom, stories, and laughter that would echo through the generations. Though Terri did not have the chance to welcome any great-grandchildren, her legacy of love and kindness will undoubtedly be passed down through the family she so dearly cherished. Her memory will forever remain a guiding light for her family, serving as a reminder of the importance of love, unity, and compassion. In honor of Terri's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate her life, allowing her family to gather in intimate remembrance and reflection. While the ceremony is private, the impact of Terri's life is far-reaching, touching the hearts of friends and community members who were fortunate enough to know her. Terri Lynn Hill will be remembered for her warm smile, her generous heart, and her unwavering dedication to her family.
