Terri Lynn Earls
January 5, 1957 — April 3, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Terri Lynn Earls, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who departed this world on April 3, 2026, at the age of 69. Terri's journey began on January 5, 1957, in the serene town of Duluth, Minnesota, where she was born to Pauline and Earl Kulas. From her earliest days, Terri exhibited a warmth and compassion that touched the lives of all who knew her.
Terri's life was a tapestry woven with love, strength, and resilience. She was predeceased by her cherished parents, Pauline and Earl Kulas, as well as her birth father, Howard Johnson, and her treasured brothers, Jeff Kulas, Bruce Johnson, and Don Johnson. Despite the heartache of these losses, Terri's enduring spirit shone through, and she found joy and purpose in the family she built and nurtured.
Terri's legacy lives on in her beloved daughters, Vanessa (Shane) Bushey of Grimes, Iowa, and Alison (Aaron) Holmgren of Duluth, Minnesota. Her love for them was boundless, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments and the families they created. Terri was a devoted grandmother to five adoring grandchildren: Jacob, Brayden, Ella, Riley, and Jack. Her laughter and wisdom will continue to echo in the hearts of her great-grandchildren, Avery and Isaac, who were blessed to know the warmth of her embrace.
In addition to her immediate family, Terri leaves behind her siblings, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories: sisters Kathy (Scott) Limoseth, Beth (Devin) Hoag, and Bonnie (John) Kubiak, and brother Mike (Deb) Kulas. Terri's extended family includes numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of special friends, all of whom held a unique place in her heart.
Terri's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at St. Luke's Oncology/Hospice floor, Hilltop Healthcare, and St. Croix Hospice. Your unwavering care and compassion provided comfort during Terri's final days, and your kindness will forever be remembered with deep appreciation.
As we gather to celebrate the life of Terri Lynn Earls, we remember her as a woman of grace, humor, and unwavering love. Her legacy is one of kindness and generosity, and her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A service to honor Terri's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will come together to share stories, laughter, and tears, as we commemorate a life well-lived and a soul that will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Terri's memory to a charity of your choice, embodying the spirit of giving that was so central to her life.
