In Loving Memory

Terri Laquatta Pritchett
July 17, 1968 — July 16, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Terri Laquatta Pritchett, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Terri departed this world on July 16, 2026, just one day shy of her 58th birthday, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 17, 1968, in Biloxi, Mississippi, Terri was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her.
Terri was the cherished daughter of the late Audrey and Johnny McSwain. She was also predeceased by her brother Mike Moore and sister Linda Moore, who undoubtedly greeted her with open arms in the afterlife. She is survived by her devoted husband of 11 years, Kenneth Pritchett, with whom she shared a deep and abiding love that was evident to all. Her legacy lives on through her children: sons David Moore, Anthony McSwain, Clifford Walton, and daughter Latunya Jonika. Terri was a proud and adoring grandmother to nine grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.
Terri was a woman of many talents and passions. Her love for arts and crafts was exceeded only by her culinary prowess; she was known for her ability to transform simple ingredients into meals that nourished not just the body, but the soul. Terri's most treasured hobby, however, was showing love—whether through a kind word, a warm embrace, or a thoughtful gesture. Her beauty radiated from within, touching everyone she met with her kindness and generosity.
A celebration of Terri's life will be held at 10:36 AM at the church located at 425 Kendall. Family, friends, and all who were touched by Terri's spirit are invited to attend. It is the wish of Terri's family that donations be made to a charity of choice, honoring her life by continuing the cycle of love and generosity she embodied.
In this time of sorrow, the family extends a heartfelt message to everyone who knew Terri: your support, love, and memories are cherished beyond words. Terri's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. As we say goodbye to a remarkable woman, we also celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to her family and friends.
