In Loving Memory

Terri Green
September 17, 1964 — December 3, 2025
We celebrate the life of Terri Green, born on September 17, 1964 in Washington, DC and whose journey through life ended at home on December 3, 2025. Terri was a beacon of strength and laughter, a beloved daughter, sister, niece and friend, whose presence lit up the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.
A proud graduate of Friendly High School, Terri took her first courageous steps into adulthood by joining the army, where she was trained to repair tanks.
Terri's professional journey was as diverse and spirited as she was. She began her career with the National Park Service in Washington, DC where she participated in the annual White House Easter Egg Roll. Her adventurous spirit saw her transfer to Big Bend National Park in Texas and eventually to New Orleans, living through Hurricane Katrina.
Terri had an unmatched love for cats, particularly the strays she befriended and fed wherever she lived. Among them was Kenisha, a challenging yet cherished companion who became Terri's favorite.
Terri is survived by her mother, Sherry Green; her father, Raymond Green; her daughter, Tegan (Jose) Herrera and 5 grandchildren; her siblings, Cheryl (Mike) Iverson and Dawn Green; her niece, Brittney Iverson; her nephews, Michael Iverson and Nolan Spring; her aunt, Lori (Lawrence) Sullivan; her uncle Gary (Sandy) Mason.
As we bid farewell to Terri, we remember her not with tears but with gratitude for the time we shared. Her spirit will forever be a part of us, living on in the stories we tell and the love we share.
May Terri rest in peace, knowing she is deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
