In loving memory of Terrance L. Edwards, who passed away on October 16, 2026. Born on December 17, 1980, in New Haven, CT, Terrance's life was a testament to kindness and joy. He was the beloved son of Gwen Edwards and James King and grew up surrounded by a loving family and community in New Haven. Terrance's journey through life was marked by perseverance and dedication. After attending Wilbur Cross High School, he made the determined decision to earn his GED, an achievement that spoke volumes of his resolve. In 2002, he furthered his education at Branford Hall Career Institute, pursuing a career as a Medical Assistant, which highlighted his passion for helping others. Professionally, Terrance found fulfillment working in the inventory department at Bozzuto’s in North Haven. His dedication and work ethic were admired by colleagues and friends alike. Terrance was a man whose presence could light up any room. Known for his infectious laughter and sense of humor, he had an unparalleled ability to bring smiles to everyone around him. He possessed a heart of gold and was always ready to lend a helping hand, often without expecting anything in return. His genuine nature and kindness made everyone feel welcome, loved, and important. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever reside in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. Terrance's spirit was a breath of fresh air, and his warmth and happiness touched many lives. There will never be another quite like him, and his absence will be felt deeply by all. Terrance is survived by his devoted wife, Dijon Edwards, and his cherished children, Terryn Edwards, Terrance Edwards Jr., and T’honnie Edwards. He also leaves behind his siblings, Lacresha Edwards and Tywan Edwards, his dear parents, Gwen Edwards and James King, and his best friend, Terrance Jowers, fondly known as TNice. A celebration of Terrance's life will be held on October 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Pitts Chapel, located at 64 Brewster St, New Haven, CT 06511, United States. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Terrance are welcome to attend and honor his memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Terrance's memory to a charity of your choice, supporting causes that reflect his generous spirit and love for helping others. Terrance L. Edwards will be missed more than words can express and loved for a lifetime. His memory will remain a guiding light in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him.
