Born on July 28, 1985, in Summit, New Jersey, Terrance lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to family and friends. His journey, though too brief, was marked by profound connections and an enduring legacy of kindness and strength.
Terrance was the beloved son of Mr. Anthony Nesbit Sr. and Maud Conway, who cherished him dearly. He was preceded in death by his brother, Towan D. Conway, whose memory he held close. He is survived by his devoted parents, his loving children, Zamir K. Nesbit and Makhai D. Nesbit, and their mother, Ayesha Simpson, who together formed the cornerstone of his life. Terrance’s spirit and love will continue to shine through his children, a testament to his nurturing guidance.
Also left to cherish his memory is his partner, Maribel Gonzalez, who was his steadfast companion and confidante. Their bond was a testament to the beauty of love and partnership. Terrance’s siblings, Anthony Nesbit Jr., Andre Nesbit, William White Jr., and sister Atia Nesbit, will forever remember him as a caring brother whose laughter and warmth brought joy to every family gathering.
Terrance was a proud graduate of Barringer High School in Newark, NJ, and furthered his education at Lincoln Technical School of Union, NJ. His commitment to personal growth and betterment was evident in his professional endeavors and personal pursuits.
Known for his warm spirit and deep love for his family, Terrance had an innate ability to make those around him feel cherished and valued. His presence was a beacon of comfort and strength, offering solace and joy to all who were fortunate to know him. His laughter was infectious, and his kindness knew no bounds. Terrance had a remarkable ability to touch hearts, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.
A celebration of Terrance’s life will be held on May 21, 2026, at 10:00 am at the Israel Memorial AME Church, located at 54 Lincoln St., Newark, NJ 07102. We invite all who knew Terrance to join us in commemorating his life and the love he shared with the world.
