It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Terrance Jerrell Nesbit, who departed this life on May 5, 2026. Born on July 28, 1985, in Summit, New Jersey, Terrance graced this world with a radiant spirit and a heart full of love and compassion. Raised in a nurturing family, Terrance was the cherished son of Mr. Anthony Nesbit Sr. and Ms. Maud Conway. Terrance is cherished by his brothers Anthony Nesbit Jr., Andre Nesbit, and William White Jr., and his sister, Atia Nesbit. Terrance is predeceased by his brother, Towan D. Conway, whose memory he held dearly throughout his life. Terrance was a proud graduate of Barringer High School in Newark, NJ, and furthered his education at Lincoln Technical School of Union, NJ. His dedication to his studies was a testament to his commitment to personal growth and his desire to provide a better future. Terrance is survived by his children, Zamir K. Nesbit and Makhai D. Nesbit, whom he shared with Ayesha Simpson. His legacy will continue through his children. In recent years, Terrance found companionship with his significant other, Maribel Gonzalez, together, they created countless cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. Terrance will be fondly remembered for his warm spirit, infectious laughter, and the deep love he had for his family and friends. He was a beacon of strength and resilience, qualities that inspired those around him to live life with courage and kindness. His presence brought comfort and joy to all he encountered, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of many. A celebration of Terrance's life will be held on May 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Israel Memorial AME Church, located at 54 Lincoln St., Newark, NJ 07102. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Terrance are invited to join in honoring his memory and celebrating the love and light he brought into the world.
