Teresa "Nonnie" Orgeron, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 14, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on September 22, 1958, in Birmingham, Alabama, Teresa was the cherished daughter of the late William Earnest Smith and Mildred Elizabeth Smith. Teresa's life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and love. Known for her warm heart and unwavering compassion, she touched the lives of many with her gentle spirit and selfless nature. Teresa had an innate ability to make everyone feel included and valued, always ensuring that nobody was left behind. Her smile, bright and infectious, could light up any room and uplift those around her. In 35 years of marriage to her loving husband, Whitney Orgeron, Teresa built a beautiful family. She is survived by her devoted children, Michelle Brown, married to Zachery, and Jonathan Orgeron, who will forever cherish her memory. Her loving legacy continues through her grandchildren: Everleigh Brown, Kayden Orgeron, Kinslee Orgeron, Jonathan Orgeron Jr., Lillian Orgeron, and Madilyn Orgeron, each of whom brought immense joy to her life. Teresa shared a special bond with her brother, Brian Smith, and his wife Kelly. Her best friend, Cecilia Lawnicki, was a constant source of joy and companionship, sharing countless memories and adventures, especially their cherished times at the beach with Michelle and Teresa's grandchildren, Everleigh, Kayden, and Kinslee.
