Teresa D. "Teri" Ream, aged 57, passed away peacefully at her home in the loving embrace of her husband on September 27, 2026. Born on December 29, 1968, in Andrews, Texas, Teri was a beacon of love and dedication to her family and community.
Teri was the beloved daughter of Carol Stanfill and the late Robert Hetcel. She was a cherished stepdaughter to James Stanfill. Her life's journey was shared with her devoted husband, John Ream, whom she married on September 16, 1988, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Together, they built a life rich with love, joy, and adventure.
A proud graduate of Putnam City High School, Teri furthered her education by obtaining an Associate’s Degree. Her professional life was marked by her work as an Administrative Office Manager, serving as a Government Civilian and later contributing her talents to Video Gaming Technology.
Teri was an active and passionate member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine and Daughters of the Nile, where she held numerous positions and cultivated friendships that lasted a lifetime. Her commitment to her community also extended to her support of the Shriners Children's Hospital, a cause close to her heart.
Her love for travel took her across the globe, accompanying her husband during his military career. Teri made cherished memories in Germany, Spain, Jamaica, Mallorca, and enjoyed special trips with her daughter to Bournemouth, England. Her love for the water and beaches was a source of happiness and peace.
Teri was a woman of many talents and interests. She was an avid reader, devouring over 300 books a year. Her creative spirit shone through in her quilting and crocheting, crafting beautiful blankets, hats, and scarves that warmed both body and soul. She also delighted in scrapbooking, capturing precious family moments in a way only she could.
Above all, Teri was the greatest mother and grandmother, her love extending not just to her human family, but to her pet dogs as well. She is survived by her devoted daughter Kylie Witanra and her husband Raymond; her brother Greg Hetcel and his wife Beth; her sister Debbie Berg and her husband Ernie; and two treasured grandchildren. Teri's love and kindness will forever be remembered by her family and friends.
