It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Teresa Burke, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Teresa departed this world on May 5, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and generosity. Born on May 20, 1955, in the charming heart of Wisconsin, Teresa was the cherished daughter of the late Robert and Peggy Steedley. Teresa was blessed with a loving family, which she nurtured throughout her life. She was predeceased by her dear parents, her brothers, Cliff and Daniel, and her beloved husband, Danny Burke. Teresa and Danny shared a beautiful life together after marrying in 1977, raising their two daughters, Brandi and Amy, with boundless love and devotion, until Danny's untimely passing in 1987. Teresa is survived by her daughters, Brandi (Marcus) Ford and Amy Quinn, who carry forward her legacy with strength and grace. The light of her life, her grandchildren Dani, Aubrey, Jackson, and Cameron, brought her immense joy and pride. Teresa's sisters, Joni Norrid and Peggy Hoffman, remain as pillars of strength, continuing the close-knit family bond she cherished deeply. Throughout her life, Teresa was known for her kindness and generosity, qualities that touched and inspired many. Her compassion extended beyond her family, as she was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her spirit of giving was a beacon of hope for everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at Good Sheppard Hospice and Rolling Hills Health and Rehab for the exemplary care and compassion shown to Teresa in her final days. Their support provided comfort and reassurance during a difficult time, and the family will forever be grateful for their kindness. As we say farewell to Teresa, we remember her not with sorrow, but with gratitude for the time we shared with such an extraordinary woman. Her memory will continue to be a guiding light, reminding us of the power of love, kindness, and family. A private family service will be held to honor Teresa's life, allowing those closest to her to celebrate her journey and cherish the indelible impact she made on their lives. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a local charity of choice in Teresa's name, continuing her legacy of giving. Teresa Burke’s life was a beautiful testament to the love and strength of family, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love of those who have gone before her.
